Just Fine Records is the musical project of artist & producer Giles Dickerson. Just Fine was created as a platform for deep underground dance music, tunes that are honest and authentic and danceable. The focus is a vibe, not new, not old, something right in-between the two, transcending time and perhaps space as well.

As dance music tastes change, Just Fine will continue on it’s own path, releasing heavy tunes for lovers of special electronic dance music that speaks to their imagination, directly from the minds of the artists that create these songs. Just Fine lives under the belief that music and dancing are special and uniquely human, magic even, experiences, and as we release music, with each release we seek a deeper connection and understanding of what this “dance” phenomenon really is in the minds and history of humanity on earth and beyond.

Giles Dickerson

Giles lives, sleeps and breathes dance music. At 6 years old he was given a record player and a copy of Saturday Night Fever, and that sparked what became a lifelong obsession with the mystical powers of deep electronic music. Giles plays a mix of deep house, techno, electro and disco, and doesn’t care too much about genres. Producing tracks for about 20 years Giles has been releasing songs on records with other artists such as Boo Williams, Jordan Fields, Gari Romalis and Deep88.

Seeking an outlet for more of his own music as well as releases from artists he knows and loves, Just Fine records was born. Giles has a long history with underground music, designing records for Theo Parrish, Norm Talley, Brett Dancer and more. Giles’ Saturday night dance show on FM radio in Boston ran for nearly a decade on 90.3 WZBC, from 11-2am. This led to loft parties and travel to play records for crowds all over the globe. Learning to play guitar and bass, Giles dug deeper in the studio and started to release records. His passion for this music continues to be expressed through his Friday night dance show on Makerparkradio.nyc, where he plays his own sets and has frequent guests from in and around NYC, and city steeped in dance vibes. Giles lives in NYC currently, and continues his passionate exploration of rhythmic electronic music as a permanent installation of his creative being.
